How Our Team See Sunday’s Match
Manchester City continue their bid for a fourth successive Premier League title as they travel to the Midlands for a match against relegation candidates Nottingham Forest. The Blues are just one point behind Arsenal, but with a game in hand and victory over Forest, coupled with the Gunners dropping points at Spurs, would see City return to the summit with a game in hand.
Forest are equally in need of the points and face a straight fight with Burnley and Luton to see who will join Sheffield United in the Championship next season.
As usual, our team are on hand to give their views on how the match will go. Here’s what we think will happen at Forest.
Saul
Big one here. Away makes it no easier but it seems Haaland is back. 3-1 win.
Forest 1-3 City
Thomas
5 matches to go and City have it all to play for. With Forest 1 point above the drop zone, the City Ground will be eager to push their squad to get a shock result. Not to be this time as City cruise.
Forest 0-3 City
Dillon
Run-in mode has been activated. Expect the squad to be calm in the first few minutes to kill off the crowd then push midway in the first half to grab the first goal. Once that happens Forrest will have to fight for the draw to avoid relegation and will open themselves up.
Forest 0-3 City
Pete
Both teams need the points for very different reasons and it may not be as easy as some would like to believe. Forest haven’t been great this season, but they are capable of springing a surprise. However, I don’t think that’ll happen on Sunday, although I do think they’ll stay up. Obligatory goal incoming though.
Forest 1-4 City
How We Did Against Brighton
We all went for a City win on the South Coast and we were right. We just didn’t expect such an emphatic win. Saul, Craig and Pete all got the right number of goals =, so three points there, one for everyone else.
Here’s the table:
