The Catalans are assessing potential options

Barcelona have reportedly told Dani Olmo’s agent they are willing to try and sign the RB Leipzig star this summer.

Diario Sport are reporting that Deco met with his agent this week and brought new that they would love to have Olmo as a key player in the team.

Barcelona are thought to be eyeing a left-sided attacker this summer, with Luis Diaz and Nico Williams also targeted, and Olmo another possible option.

Flick is said to also be in favor of signing Olmo who he knows well from his time in the Bundesliga.

Barcelona will likely have to shell out 60 million euros to sign Olmo, which is where things get tricky, although the forward has always said he’d love to come back to the club.

Yet we all know that signings will be very difficult for Barcelona this summer unless they can bring in some income and return to the 1:1 rule.

There is mounting speculation that Barca will announce the sale of 15% of Barça Vision next week which will allow them to sign within the 1:1 rule again.

Barca could also look to make a major sale which could then potentially pave the way for the club to bring in a player such as Olmo, Williams or Diaz.
