Police took to clash with angry Tottenham supporters during the North London derby against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
Video footage has emerged showing a altercation between a group of police and fans, resulting in some supporters being visibly dragged along the ground by multiple individuals.
In the midst of the chaos, one individual is forcefully pushed to the ground and subsequently subjected to repeated strikes by the officers, who were equipped with riot helmets and high-visibility jackets.
When another supporter tries to get involved and assist a fan, they too are forcibly removed from the scene.
Throughout the confrontation outside the stadium, projectiles and beverages are chucked at police officers by onlookers.
Additionally, a separate video clip shared on TikTok shows a group of Tottenham clashing with police officers. It’s uncertain whether these two clips depict the same incident that occurred at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
There were previous reports of away supporters managing to infiltrate the home section during the match between the fierce local rivals.

Despite a strong comeback from the hosts in the second half, Arsenal managed to come away with a 3-2 victory, with goals from Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz, as well as a Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg own goal.
Although Cristian Romero and Son Heung-min found the back of the net for Tottenham, Mikel Arteta’s team held their ground.

As a result, Arsenal now sits at the top of the Premier League table and has achieved consecutive wins at Tottenham in the league for the first time in 36 years.
In an interview after the game, the Arsenal fan spotted in the home end said he’d not realised he had bought a ticket for the wrong part of the stadium, having jetted all the way from Australia to watch his beloved side play.
AFTV spoke to the fan who was labelled as the ‘bravest Arsenal fan in the world’ after the game.
He said: ‘I just got off a plane last night from Sydney, Australia. I came straight to Tottenham’s stadium.
‘I bought my ticket in Sydney. I didn’t realise I was in the Tottenham section.
‘Obviously we win 3-2. I go up to the barrier and I see all the Arsenal fans and I couldn’t help myself. I honestly couldn’t help myself.’
There was plenty of reaction from fans on social media as police clash with angry Tottenham supporters during the North London derby against Arsenal…
@marksy316: @metpoliceuk why is one of your officers punching someone?
@K9THFC: I was in the thick of it. The reaction from the police was APALLING. one officer pushed me, I nearly broke my bloody leg and when I pulled him up on it helps response was “I’m doing my job” I.e his job is to assault people. Disgusting.
@jablesdubs: @metpoliceuk is punching someone in the back of the head with hardened gloves part of normal practice?
@ben_utv: ACAB. Hitting a bloke whilst he’s lying on the floor cunts
@Daren0109: More two tier policing, football fan on the floor getting battered by @metpoliceuk. If only they treated everyone the same, after another week of shame for The Met lessons still haven’t been learnt.
