Chelsea have confirmed a deal has been agreed for the Blues to sign Brazilian wonderkid Estevao Willian - also known as Messinho - from Palmeiras.
Messinho has been regularly linked with a move to Barcelona - and admitted it was his “biggest dream” to play for the Catalans - but will now head to the Premier League instead.

Chelsea confirmed Messinho will arrive next summer in an official statement on the club’s website. Fabrizio Romano reports he’s signed a deal that will run until 2033, and Chelsea will pay around €60m in total for the teenager.
The price tag is likely to be one major reason why Barcelona haven’t been able to sign the young star. His agent, Andre Cury, has regularly talked up a move for Messinho and has previously likened him to Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Cury had said publicly he felt Barcelona should sign Messinho but it’s the blue of Chelsea he will now wear when he finally makes the move to Europe.
